In partnership with the Professional Association of Canadian Theatres (PACT), we are working with Foodbuy to offer our members savings across concessions, payment processing, waste management and so much more. We are currently piloting this program in Ontario.

Who is Foodbuy?

Foodbuy is North America’s largest group purchasing organization, specializing in food and non-food procurement. By leveraging its members collective purchasing volume, Foodbuy negotiates savings, rebate programs and helps reduce business costs and improve efficiencies.

Who is Core-Mark?

Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group company, is one of North America’s largest and most comprehensive distributors of fresh food, snacks, and broadline supply solutions. 

What other savings are available?

Foodbuy has many other programs including Moneris, Waste Solutions and Abell Pest Control – all great opportunities to save money on your core functions!

How much does it cost, and are there any exclusivity provisions?

There is no cost to participate in this program. It is totally FREE.

There is no exclusivity and you can continue other vendor relationships as may work best for you.

How do the savings & rebates work?

This program aims to deliver financial incentives on two fronts: savings and rebates. The negotiated product rates are very competitive due to the collective purchasing volume of the groups. Additionally, Foodbuy negotiates with the manufacturer to offer incentive rebates on regularly purchased concession products. Rebates will be distributed 30 days after purchase. Together, we have modeled and anticipate savings of 5%.

Are there any geographical restrictions?

Core-Mark is currently able to service all theatres in Ontario.

Is there a delivery fee?

Deliveries for orders over $850 are free. For orders of under that amount, a delivery fee of $35 – $50 may apply.

What happens if I don’t see a product that I need?

Reach out to Yvonne with Foodbuy at (Yvonne.Huber@foodbuy.ca) and ask about a specific product or category. Foodbuy may have a similar product to offer, or will reach out to explore adding vendors and products to the program.
